After the 1970’s oil crisis in America, it is unbelievable that our nation’s leaders, our Congressional representatives and, yes, all of us, have allowed this country to plod on year after year making no effort to become energy independent.
Compounding our mistakes is allowing our representatives to prohibit oil drilling and exploration in parts of the United States that are teeming with oil. We could have better used the last 30 years to become independent of foreign nations, especially those who do not have our best interests in mind.
Newt Gingrich and American Solutions have a plan, a petition and a potentially-powerful organization. Go to their website, watch the video and make your own decision, but isn’t it about time we returned America to its self-sufficient roots?
