Netanyahu is a native of Israel, born in Tel-Aviv in 1949 (the same year I was born). He grew up in Jerusalem, the heart of the religious world for Jews, Christians, and Muslims. While his father was a history teacher in the United States, Netanyahu lived here. When he returned to Israel, he enlisted in the Israel Defense Forces and was a member of the prestigous Sayeret Matkal commando unit.
He has seen war first-hand and was wounded during the hostage rescue operation at Ben Gurion Airport. He left the IDF in 1972. (See his more detailed biography HERE.)
Netanyahu has earned his warrior-statesman status while under fire by the enemy, by his political opponents, and by foreign leaders like Barack Obama who consider the future of Israel nothing more than a bargaining chip in an effort to appease brutal Islamic fundamentalists.
Benjamin Netanyahu will not falter on behalf of his nation, he places the security and welfare of his people above himself, and he regards his personal honor as something that is non-negotiable.

America has a plethora of MEN like BIBI. But we allow the powers that be to keep recycling the same damned crooks, over and over. America's Netanyahu is down the street, over in the next town, sitting in that other church; but he is here, and ready to be asked to serve his country.
ReplyDeleteThere are something like 300,000,000 Americans running around this country. Why in hell do we have to ask any politician to repeat his term of service. That term of service was devised so that we could attract the best of the best and have them give but one term of their expertise to the nation. We gained greatly because of it, and they could then go back to doing the business that they were best at. Now we have 537 near permanent residents who are bleeding us dry. Fer christsakes, it ain't about "ME", you dopes. It is about America, our families, friends n neighbors. Not about ourselves. There is NO valid reason to ever re-elect a public official.

Can't we elect Bibi for president? We need someone like him in office.
