Every day we see more assaults on the Second Amendment. The
good news is that many of these efforts are failing as cities, counties,
states, and those at the national level resist the war on the Constitution.
Even Senator Feinstein’s draconian bill is having difficulty
in the Senate. Citizens must keep the pressure on Republicans and reasonable
Democrats (there must be a few) not to cave in to any demands for gun
registration, weapons or magazine bans, or universal background checks.

Vice President Joe Biden told Field and Stream in a report
published Monday that “if you want to keep someone away from your house, just
fire the shotgun through the door.” That same day, a 22-year-old man in
Virginia Beach, Va. followed Biden’s advice — and was charged with reckless
handling of a firearm.
The man was in his bedroom when two armed masked men leaned
through the window and warmed him to close his bedroom door, WAVY-TV reports.
The 22-year-old then stepped into the hallway, grabbed his shotgun and fired
several shots through his closed bedroom door, toward the window.

constitution.
State Supreme Court Justice Gerald Connolly signed an order
granting the request for a hearing by plaintiffs who are challenging Gov.

announced it may leave Maryland over a proposed gun control bill currently
being considered by lawmakers.
Testifying before the Maryland House Judiciary Committee on
Friday, Beretta, USA general counsel Jeffrey Reh argued Maryland Gov. Martin
O’Malley’s “Firearm Safety Act of 2013″ is “tantamount to a legislative effort
to ban certain books.”

of possessing an unregistered firearm as well as one without a serial number.
So the guy either bought it illegally without the serial number or removed the
serial number himself. Then he received ONLY probation. But Obama, the guy who

President Obama has granted pardons to 17 people, the White
House announced Friday.
One of the men pardoned on Friday was convicted of
possession of an unregistered firearm. This, of course, comes as the White
House pushes for strict gun control legislation.
Larry Wayne Thornton of Forsyth, Ga., was reportedly
sentenced to four years of probation for “possession of an unregistered
firearm” as well as “possession of a firearm without a serial number.”

A Democratic donor and one-time suggestion for an Obama
cabinet position plans “gut and destroy” pro-gun media, according to a report
in the Daily Caller.
An anonymous employee of Intermedia Partners, a private
investment firm, told the Daily Caller that managing partner Leo Hindery Jr. is
buying up top gun culture media with the intention of “stripping them down to
virtual destruction.” Intermedia Partners owns Intermedia Outdoor Holdings,
which publishes 17 hunting and gaming magazines; owns the Sportsman Channel;
and is in the process of obtaining the Outdoor Channel, pending federal
approval:
